Returns & Refunds Policy

At Red Top Aquatics, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for eligible items.

To qualify for a return, your item must:

  • Be unused and in its original condition.
  • Be in its original packaging.
  • Include any tags or accessories.
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase.

To request a return, please email redtopaquatics@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your return.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as they may not be accepted.

Damaged, Incorrect or Faulty Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your order is damaged, faulty, or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We’ll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to health, hygiene and biosecurity requirements, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Live fish, shrimp or other livestock
  • Live aquarium plants
  • Frozen foods
  • Opened fish foods
  • Opened water treatments or aquarium chemicals
  • Custom or special-order products
  • Gift cards
  • Clearance or sale items

If you’re unsure whether your item is eligible for return, please contact us before sending it back.

Change of Mind

If you change your mind, you may return eligible unused items within 30 days.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If you require a different product, simply return the eligible item and place a new order once your return has been approved.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the outcome.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund.
